Oops, my bad. Didn't read the entire post.
Thus you want to see it on 2 lines...

Try this...
Goto Admin area - Settings - Preferences - Date display options
Change Long date format: to

%a %d %B %Y <br /> %H:%M:%S

Your string will be diffrent from mine. I'm using the 24h format.
But the idea is to add a <br /> where you want to goto a new line.

One problem with doing it thisway. Is that the long date display will then be on 2 lines site-wise. But I've been looking on your site if you are using them somewhere else.And I can't find them anywhere. Thus you can do it this way
